Hire Me

Hello, my name is Jeff and I design things.

I’m the owner and conceptual artist at HellothisisJeff Design. My love for and commitment to Christ, my wife, and my two children are what define and sustain me, while my passion for creating compelling images and brands for churches, non-profits, and small businesses provides endless opportunities to engage in work that benefits our communities.

Since 2003, I’ve had the pleasure of working for two top-notch Indianapolis design agencies, one world-renowned museum, and one of the fastest-growing churches in the nation. My past work has helped inform, excite, and engage audiences while providing clients with a cohesive and branded voice. Now, as an independent design artist, I bring my experience and winning record to bat across state lines and international boundaries for each of my clients.

My passion lies in creating images and brands that inspire, engage, and bring value to my clients and their audiences. I’ve found that a wholistic approach is the most effective in any project, and I put my expertise to work in everything from initial brainstorming to coordinating final printing, ensuring that each project is a win.

Most importantly, I value the relationships I have with every client. Success is when we come away at the end of a project even more excited about what we’ve created than at the beginning. Along the way, I’ll deliver an enjoyable, hassle-free experience as we partner together to accomplish your goals.

So how do we get started?

Glad you asked. Hopefully, by now you’ve seen my work and are getting excited at the prospect of what we can create together. To better explain the process, here’s a few questions and answers to get us started.

What kind of work do you do?

Here’s a quick list that is by no means exhaustive. Chances are, if you can dream it up, I can help you design and produce it, so if you don’t see your project listed here, contact me for more information. It never hurts to ask.

So I have this project…

Great! Let’s start talking. In order to start off on the right foot, I’ll take you through a series of key questions that help identify the nature of your project, the overall vision/purpose of the organization you represent, the type of audience you’re trying to reach, and other useful information that will help us fully grasp the amount and type of work to be done. Once we’re clear on the scope of the project, we’ll head into the next phase of the process… finding that magic number.

What will it cost?

Every project is unique when it comes to agreeing on a price. If you’re representing a church or other non-profit organization, you’ll receive a significant discount off my services right out of the gate. I’ll also make sure the scope of the project is well-defined and understood by both parties before setting a price. Once I’ve gathered the information, I’ll draw up a proposal that includes a description of services, an estimated timeline, cost, and a terms of service agreement. The entire process is online, so you won’t have to mess with printing off or faxing over any forms.

So then what?

Once the proposal has been accepted, an initial deposit is required for work to begin (payments can also be made online). Then, away we go. We’ll follow the proposed timeline, I’ll keep you informed along the way, and I’ll deliver the final product in keeping with our agreement. Most importantly, you’ll be able to use what I create to successfully impact your audience, establish your brand, or launch a new campaign. You’ll be well on your way to achieving your goal.
