Birth Announcements

I've been away from the blogging world for awhile now, and this little one is partially responsible for that. On September 4th, I welcomed my beautiful daughter into the world – our first!

She's been consuming most of my time, love, and attention ever since. I finally got around to designing her birth announcement this past month. I wanted to go for something simple and elegant, as her cuteness definitely speaks for itself. I came up with a unique but simple badge design with her name, birth weight and length, and birth date all included. Add a classic white border, and voila, a cute little announcement card for cutest baby in the world (I may be a little biased). To add the perfect finishing touch, I ordered these as single-photo announcements from simplytoimpress.com and chose their pearlescent premium cardstock option. The printing and paper stock were superb and the order even came with envelopes. The pearlescent finish really adds a nice luster and glow to the image. Now on to Christmas cards…
